Support Affordable Acupuncture

At River Valley, we are dedicated to keeping acupuncture affordable. That’s why we are opposed to a new proposal which would raise educational requirements for acupuncturists.

Many people are surprised to learn that acupuncturists already receive Master’s Degrees after attending 9 semesters of training and a full year of clinical internship. The proposal would raise this to a doctoral degree and add another year of schooling.

Since acupuncture school can be very expensive, the new proposal has the potential to increase the financial burden on graduating acupuncturists, which would then make it difficult for them to charge affordable treatment prices.

Please join us in showing your opposition for further acupuncture training requirements. Stop by the office and sign our petition before January 7. Or, send an email directly to: coordinator@acaom.org

Thank you for your support!
