Hypnosis

Hypnosis involves a process of goal setting and attainment.  What do you want?  How do you want to feel?

Like the tip of an iceberg, the conscious mind represents only a small portion of our brain activity.  The vast majority of our brain space is devoted to the subconscious and unconscious minds.  Our subconscious mind registers all of our experiences, and records our feelings and beliefs, even if we are not consciously aware of them.  These feelings and beliefs can influence our mood and our actions, for good or for bad.

One of the best ways we can access our subconscious is through hypnosis.  Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration that allows the subconscious mind to come to the forefront.  We can use this technique to discover and change the limiting beliefs in our subconscious that may be holding us back.

As a Certified Hypnotist, I will be your guide as you navigate the subconscious and make the changes necessary to achieve your goals.  You are an active participant in every hypnosis session; ultimately, you are in control of pursuing and achieving your objectives.

Hypnosis uses evidence-based techniques based on neuroscience, and is even performed by some medical doctors in hospitals.  Sessions may include conversations, guided visualizations, and direct or indirect suggestions.

Hypnosis is well known to treat issues like stress and anxiety, fears, chronic pain, sleep issues, smoking cessation, weight loss, and athletic performance.  There are also many other conditions that have been found to respond to hypnosis, including allergies, asthma, hot flashes, and irritable bowel syndrome, just to name a few.

I offer private and group hypnosis sessions.
