Acute pain serves an important function: it alerts us to the potential danger of causing damage to our body. For instance, if you twist your ankle, the acute pain you feel will remind you not to continue to put undue strain on that joint while it heals.
Conversely, chronic pain is almost never useful. If you have chronic arthritis, for example, you are well aware of your body’s limitations and you don’t need to be reminded with nagging pain every day.
How would you feel if you were rid of your chronic pain? How would your life change and improve? Most importantly, are you ready to get rid of old pain which serves no useful function?
I have been trained in a technique called OldPain2Go(tm) which I have found to be incredibly helpful in reducing or eliminating chronic pain.* This is a type of conversational hypnosis (ie no deep trance is required) that involves direct communication with your unconscious mind.
I am offering a pay-what-you-can group class on Tuesday, June 11. Because this class is interactive, attendance is limited to 10 people. Depending on the individual needs of participants, the class may take up to 90 minutes. Although it is likely that we won’t need all 90 minutes, please arrange your schedule to be able to stay for the entire allotted time, out of respect for your fellow participants.
You are a candidate for this technique if:
Your pain is chronic (old), not acute (new).
You have had a full medical workup done on the pain and have taken all appropriate steps.
You do not think that this pain is necessary/serves an important function.
If you are wondering if you are a candidate, feel free to reply to this email and ask me.
Date: Tuesday, June 11 2024
Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm (90-minute class)
Location: online, this is a live class via Zoom
Cost: Pay-what-you-can, starting at $20. The full cost for an OldPain2Go groups class is $60 and an OldPain2Go private session is $150.
Class is limited to 10 participants.
* disclaimer: No technique works for 100% of the people 100% of the time. I have seen a range of responses to OldPain2Go(tm), including people who have been able to rid themselves of chronic pain for good. Your personal experience may vary. This class requires active participation to be effective.
